aimTape are Mouse tapes, which are glued to reduce drag and improve gliding easily with the mouse. aimTape offers Mouse tapes from currently four different materials and in three different widths depending on the desired application. The materials are fundamentally different in the sliding properties and the color and the base material. The aimTape Platinum Ice is high-quality material and provide very good sliding properties at very high load capacity and a good price. The material is coated with about 60-65% pure PTFE fiberglass tape. The stiction coefficient is below 0,08μ and thus still under the sliding friction. By applying aimTape is the unpleasant "stick-slip" reduced or even completely eliminated - depending on used aimTape material. A positive side effect in the use of aimTapes is that the high wear of the employed MousePads is reduced and thus the life of the pad is extended - ie the use of aimTapes pays twice! 50 cm aimTape with a width of 1 cm range - depending on the size of the mouse feet - for about 5 applications. The aimTapes come into 5 strips á 10cm length!
