Cold Cathode-Neon-Tubes [CCFLs] have compared to standard neon tubes a much more luminance with a thinner tube [diameter 1.1 cm] - thus it can be hidden much easier in the case. The lifetime is up to 20 years. They have been specially developed for installation in the computer. The neon tubes are used in conjunction with a window interior illumination kit of the PC case, making the case of interior visible and puts it into perspective.
